A trip to the top of the rocky Mount Benacantil is all it takes to see just why it has been considered such a strategic advantage! Jutting out into the sea, you've got a birds eye view of miles of the sea. Now you can enjoy the sailboats and people trying out the area's water sports, but back in the day guardsmen kept an eye out for invading armies, pirate attacks and other threats of that nature.
